Imagine you have a date with a guy you've been seeing for a while and you really like him. The time arrives and he doesn't show up. You wait and wait and you're wondering where he is. You call him and he doesn't answer. 

So you start to think that he's ditched you. He's probably seeing someone else. He's probably with them right now.

You start to question and examine every minute you ever spent with him.  Looking back at your time together you start to find so much undeniable evidence that he was clearly up to no good.  Little things he said, ways he acted, it's all adding up.  Of course!  The signs were there all along.  How could you have been so dumb?  Sure he says he really likes you, but you know that's obviously bs...

It makes so much sense, it just has to be true. This is obviously the only possible explanation!

And then, a few hours later, your phone rings. He's calling you from the police station. Turns out his car was stolen. His phone was in it.

That, my friend...  is religion.
